Xylo Solution LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the mobile application Plant Identifier: Care Plant (the “App”) available on the Apple iOS App Store and Google Play Store. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding any information associated with your use of the App.

By using the App, you consent to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or process any personal data from you. The App requires no account creation, login, name, email, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

• Plant Photos (Transient Processing Only)
  When you take or upload a photo of a plant, the image is sent directly to OpenAI’s API for identification. The image is not stored on our servers or in any database we control. Once the identification result is returned to your device, the image is discarded from our processing pipeline.
• Anonymous Analytics
  We use Google Firebase Analytics solely to collect non-personal, aggregated usage data (e.g., session duration, feature usage, crash reports, device type, and OS version). This data cannot be used to identify you and contains no personal identifiers.

We do not collect location data, contacts, health data, financial data, or any other sensitive categories.

2. How We Use the Information

• To deliver the core AI plant-identification feature (via OpenAI).
• To analyze anonymous usage patterns and improve app stability and performance (via Firebase Analytics).

3. Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or any other third parties for marketing purposes.

We share data only as strictly necessary for the App to function:

• OpenAI – Receives plant photos solely for the purpose of identification.

4. Data Retention

• Plant photos are never stored by us.
• Anonymous analytics data is retained by Google according to Google’s retention policies.

5. Data Security

All transmissions to OpenAI and Firebase use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Because we store no personal data, the risk of breach involving your information is eliminated at our end.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently received data from a child, please contact us immediately.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store any personal data, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete. If you have concerns about data handled by OpenAI or Google, please contact them directly or adjust your device privacy settings.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top will be revised. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
